Amassing Memory describes the city as an organic network without an absolute order. Typologies across the six sides of the cube refer to each other with an unbreakable interdependence. The climate crisis is not solvable only by urban planning – we must start by acknowledging the city (and the world) as more complex. The city is not a single surface; it cannot be viewed from one perspective; it must be understood as a network of scales, structures, building elements, buildings, squares, materials, people, matter, spiders etc. The model illustrates a snapshot, a memory line. It emphasizes how the many layers and scales all have equal relevance depending on each other to create a whole.
