Pavillon, wood & rubber band
Type:Competition / Status:Honourable mention / Arranged by:Chart Architecture / Collaboration:Lykke Arnfred+Nilaus Malta Müller
The geometry of the pavilion is simple and fixed yet it is constantly
reacting to its surroundings. On
the meadow, in the woods or in the
city – as a lonely existence or a
well-attended space – the pavilion
enters into a contextual dialogue.
It is not subjected to a single
context but shaped by people
and conditions. The pavilion is a comment on the
future of open source products
that continuously unfold and are
shared across time and space. It
seeks to portray an architecture
which depends on its current
position and is capable of
absorbing any spaces.
