Memory is the space in which a things happens for a second time (MITSIWATHFAST), 2023
Installation, Scaffholding, PVC-mesh, recycled bricks & concrete

Type:Exhibition / Supported by:Statens Kunstfond+Jerslev Stilladsservice+A’SIGN / Collaboration:Lykke Arnfred / Photo:Hampus Berndtson

The exhibition shows an exploration of architecture as an echo the present being rewritten as the past. With the construction of a full-scale model, architectural methods are combined to recreate the echo of a building that no longer existsphysically but can be recalled through architectural reprsentation. Through 1:1 drawings the installation retells the story of vacant houses and draws general attention to the houses disappearing due to the ongoing reduction of the city mass through the demolishing of buildings.
